The list of top 10 SUVs in July 2025 is out and Hyundai Creta is the best selling SUV of July 2025 followed by Brezza, Scorpio, and Fronx. Hyundai With 16,898 units sold in July 2025, the Hyundai Creta retained its top spot despite a marginal 3% drop compared to 17,350 units in the same month last year.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza came second in the list with 14,065 units sold in July 2025. Brezza also saw a 4% dip in its sales as the brand had sold 14,676 units in the same month last year. Another Maruti’s SUV which was in the list of top 10 SUVs in July 2025 is Fronx. Maruti Fronx sold 12,878 units in July 2025 and it recorded 18% growth in its sales as it had sold on only 10,925 units in July last year.

Mahindra Scorpio posted a solid 12% YoY growth with 13,747 units sold in July 2025, compared to 12,237 units sold in July 2024. Also Mahindra Thar posted an unbelievable 125% YoY growth with 9,845 units sold compared to 4,385 units last year. All thanks to the addition of Thar Roxx to the Thar line-up.
Tata Punch also witnessed a 33% decline in sales with 10,785 units sold this year in comparison to a massive 16,121 units last year. The sales of Tata Nexon were also no different, with 12,825 units sold in July 2025, Tata Nexon also saw a significant 8% decline compared to 13,902 units sold in the same month last year.

The Korean siblings also witnessed a setback in July 2025. The Venue registered 8,054 units, reflecting a 9% YoY decrease, compared to 8,840 units in July last year. The sales of Sonet dropped by 19% closing the month at 7,627 units compared to 9,459 units from an year ago. Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet were placed at 9th and 10th position in the list of top 10 SUVs in July 2025 respectively. Toyota Hyryder increased its sales by 19% with 8,814 units sold in July 2025, compared to 7,419 units in July 2024.
