Tata Harrier and Tata Safari will get a petrol powertrain option in November. This will help Tata to bring down the cost of both Harrier and Safari. This engine will also power the upcoming Tata Sierra, which will be launched next year.

The 1.5-litre TGDi engine was previously showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. This engine will also power upcoming Tata Sierra. First Tata will launch the EV version of Sierra in Q1 2026 and after that the ICE powered Sierra will be launched. This Sierra will be powered by this 1.5-litre Turbo-Petrol engine. However, this engine will make its international debut with Tata Harrier and Tata Safari in November this year.
