The launch of Mahindra Thar 3 Door Facelift is just around the corner. Mahindra has been testing the facelift of Thar 3 Door extensively on Indian roads. The new Thar will feature a redesigned front and rear bumper and a significantly updated interior.
After its launch in 2020, the Mahindra Thar quickly became a popular choice among youngsters, all thanks to its rugged looks and off-road capability, However, since the Thar Roxx came into existence, most buyers started opting Thar Roxx over the 3-door Thar because of its better design, practicality and new features. Now, Mahindra is all set to bring a facelifted version of 3-door Thar, aiming to get some of the customers by offering a modern design and latest features.
Mahindra Thar 3 Door Facelift Expected Launch
Mahindra Thar 3 Door Facelift will be launched in the first half of 2026. The updated Thar has been spotted testing multiple times on Indian roads over the past few months. Although, it has been spotted with heavy camouflage, but these spy shots gave us a sneak peak at the updated design of new Thar. Based on these spy shots we can assume that Mahindra is planning to give new Thar a tough yet modern appearance, while improving its comfort and technology.

Mahindra Thar 3 door Facelift Changes :
Facelifted Thar will get new design changes inspired from the Thar Roxx which will include, C-shaped LED DRLs with projector headlamps, new alloy wheels, a complete new grille and new fog lamp housing.
On the inside, Mahindra Thar 3 door Facelift is expected to get a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, an electric steering, 360 degree camera and a new dashboard.
Mahindra Thar 3 Door Facelift Engine Options
Mechanically, the facelifted Thar will remain unchanged, continuing to offer the same engine and drivetrain options as before. Currently, the 3-door That is available with a 1.5-litre diesel engine, 2.2-litre diesel engine, and a 2.0-litre petrol engine. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic, paired with both rear wheel drivetrain and four wheel drivetrain options.
