Tata Motors India is planning to increase its portfolio upto 15 cars by 2030. Tata Motors revealed that they are planning to launch 30 new cars by 2030 which will include 23 facelift models and 7 new Tata cars.
Upcoming Tata Cars will include EVs also :
Tata Motors is planning to invest upto 35,000 Crore by 2030 for the development of new models. Upcoming Tata Cars will also include Electric Vehicles and upto 18,000 Crore will be invested for the development of new Electric Vehicles. Currently Tata Motors have 6 Electric Vehicles in their line-up which are Tata Punch EV, Tata Tiago EV, Tata Tigor EV, Tata Nexon EV, Tata Curvv EV, Tata Harrier EV. Tata Motors is planning to expand their EV line-up to capture the entire Indian EV market. One of the EV which will make its debut next year is the Tata Avinya EV which was first revealed Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
Other than EVs Tata Motors is also planning to launch multiple ICE models. Which will include the most anticipated Tata Sierra SUV. Tata Sierra was revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in its production ready version. The Sierra SUV is expected to make its debut later this year. The ICE model will be launched first, followed by the EV Sierra.
Upcoming Tata Cars to increase Tata’s Market Share :
Currently Tata Motors holds around 12% of the Indian car market share and is placed at 4th position behind Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Mahindra. And with these upcoming launches Tata Motors is planning to increase its market share to 18-20% and jump to 2nd place just after Maruti Suzuki.
