Toyota India has announced GST benefits on Toyota Fortuner under the new two-slab tax structure. You can get benefits up to Rs. 3.49 Lakhs across the various variants of Toyota Fortuner. Earlier Toyota Fortuner was taxed at 50% (28% GST & 22% Cess), which has now been reduced to flat 40% GST only.
Toyota Fortuner Variant-Wise GST Benefits
Toyota Fortuner is available in 11 different variants which include both petrol and diesel engine options. In the table below you can see the variant-wise price benefit which you can get after the addition of new 40% GST which was previously 50% (28% GST & 22% Cess).

The biggest price benefit that you can get is on the GR S variant, which received a price benefit of Rs. 3,49,000. The GR S variant was previously priced at Rs. 52.34 Lakh, which now drops to Rs. 48.85 Lakh. This makes the GR S the variant with the best largest cost benefit under the new GST regime.
On the other hand, the smallest price benefit comes from the 4X2 MT Petrol variant of the Toyota Fortuner, which received a price drop of Rs. 2,40,000 after the new GST change.
