4th Gen Hyundai I20 has been spied testing in Europe. The new-gen I20 was covered fully in camouflage, but various exterior and interior changes could be seen. Earlier it was expected that Hyundai will ditch the ICE I20, but recent spyshots have confirmed that the new-gen Hyundai I20 will come in petrol engine as well.
4th Gen Hyundai I20 exterior changes :
The camouflaged test mule shows sharper LED headlamps with top mounted DRLs, a refreshed grille with a revised bumper which looks more sporty. The side profile highlights include a new ORVM with integrated turn signals in them, sharper edges with new 5-spoke alloy wheels. In the rear, a complete new design could be seen with high-mounted brake lights, new taillights and a subtle change in the bumper.
4th Gen Hyundai I20 interior changes :
The 4th Gen Hyundai I20 is expected to come with a complete new dashboard with new touchscreen infotainment system and a new digital instrument cluster, upgraded upholstery and new interior themes. The new-gen Hyundai I20 could get a ton of new features which include Level 2 ADAS and 360 degree camera which are not available in Indian specific model.

4th Gen Hyundai I20 specs and launch :
The new-gen Hyundai I20 will continue to get the same engine options which are available currently in the 3rd generation model. It is currently available with a 1.2-litre Naturally Aspirated petrol engine producing 83HP and 114.7Nm of torque. A 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine which produces 120HP and 172Nm of torque could also be available in higher trims. The transmission options will also remain same. It is currently available with a 6-speed MT, 7-Speed DCT and a CVT gearbox depending on the variant.
The new-gen Hyundai I20 could be launched in mid-2026. It will continue to rival premium hatchbacks like Tata Altroz and Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
